10 minutes from Enshu Mori Station. Koshoji is also known as one of the three major “Kikyoji Temple”, established in 1545 by the priest, “Zenchu Osho”. There stand tombs of a clan of feudal warlord “Muto Gyobu”. You can enjoy balloon flowers of more than 40 thousand roots that are told to have been planted by the omen of the god. The best seasons of balloon flowers are June and July, and August and September. It has a garden and a tea-room, and you can appreciate them until 21:00 on the full moon nights.
