Izu-Chohachi Museum

A museum of a collection of works of Chohachi Irie, who originated the plaster art. The white beautiful building looks like Alhambra Palace, but with white walls by using traditional Tosa plaster art method, and has the award of the 10th Yoshida-Isohachi Prize. The museum displays Chohachi's important 50 works such as ”Spring Dawn”, ”Mt. Fuji”, etc., with magnifiers to watch his delicate art.
