Japanese long Wisteria at Tokoji Temple

This long wisteria originated in 1915 from the episode that a head priest planted a branch of “long wisteria of Kumano” in Gyokoji Temple in commemoration of his entering “Tokoji Temple”. A single trunk of 2.5m expanding branches in every direction as long as 20m with 1m flower trusses.
